March 23, 2007 (Vancouver, BC) - RJ Spagnols announced today the purchase of Vinoka, a Kelowna-based personal winemaking kit manufacturer.

"Vinoka kits are a perfect complement to the range of quality wine kits currently created and distributed by RJ Spagnols," said Diane Fitzgerald, Senior Vice President and General Manager, RJ Spagnols. "We look forward to being able to better serve our customers with an expanded range of offerings."

Vinoka is the leading producer of sparkling cider and wine cooler kits. Vinoka also produces unique fruit wine and wine cocktail kits. Kits will continue to be distributed under the current brand names of CiderPress, Lone Cactus and Vinoka, and will remain available in on-premise beer and winemaking stores as well as retail home winemaking stores across Canada.

Financial details of the agreement are not available.
