Hot Apple Cider

Alcohol free with a 'CiderPress' Crabapple Cider Kit!

Turn these long winter evenings into warm experiences with family and friends!

Instructions
Equipment and ingredients needed:
- Crabapple Cider Kit
- 2-3 tablespoons of cloves
- 50 cinnamon sticks
- 6 lemons and 4 oranges
- Plastic pail
- Large stainless steel pot
- Mixing spoon
- 31 wine bottles, plastic corks

The Crabapple Cider kit consists of:
- One Plastic Pouch of Vinoka Apple Concentrate
- One 500ml bottle of natural Vinoka Crabapple Fruit flavour
  mix
- One additive package to make Crabapple Sparkling Cider
  (not needed for the Hot Apple Cider)

Procedure
1) With a vegetable peeler remove fifty 3-inch strips of Zest from lemons and thirty 5-inch-long strips from the oranges
2) Clean all equipment, sterilize bottles and corks
3) Put approx. 2 Litres of warm water into the pail, remove cap from the bag of Apple Concentrate and pour the concentrate into the pail, add content of the Crabapple Fruit flavour mix, stir mixture with mixing spoon and fill pail with water to the 24 Litre mark. Mix thoroughly.
4) In the stainless steel pot, heat to simmer. (Should your pot hold 4L only, use only 1/6 of all ingredients and repeat points 4 to 7 six times.
5) Stir in cloves, cinnamon sticks, lemon and orange strips and continue to simmer for 10 minutes.
6) Remove the ingredients added in point 5 and remove pot from heat.
7) Fill into wine bottles, let cool down, close bottles with corks and keep refrigerated.
8) Just before serving, reheat desired amount of cider in a stainless steel pot over low heat and serve in mugs.


Also goes well with an ounce of brandy in your glass.
